Experience: 3-5 years as a qualified landscaper.
Leadership: Team leader and management experience.
Certification: Recognised trade qualification in Landscape Construction/Horticulture, or proven hands-on experience.
Essentials: A valid driver's license, a genuine passion for gardening, and a positive attitude. Insurances and contractor licence required.
Bonus: Proven experience in civil, commercial, or residential landscaping sectors.

Planting, hedging, trimming, and all general maintenance.
Hold a valid drivers license and be able to drive manual cars.
Fertilising, mulching and maintaining the health of all plants with identification and prevention of diseases.
Ability to safely use mechanical gardening equipment.
Mowing lawns with push on lawnmowers, ride-on mower, and using whipper snippers.
Pulling weeds and clearing areas of debris.
Maintain garden equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Monitor and manage irrigation systems.
Provide guidance and training to junior gardeners.

Horticulture Apprenticeship

Undertake study: Certificate III in Horticulture or Certificate III in Parks and Gardens at Ryde TAFE
You must be fit, healthy, responsible, reliable & enjoy being outdoors with a willingness to work in various weather conditions.
While no formal experience is necessary, a positive can do attitude, along with the ability to work in a team & follow direction.
Successful candidates will need their provisional drivers licence or be close to achieving this. If they do not have their licence yet they would need to be able to get themselves to a meeting point to commence work each day, to TAFE one day per week & be committed to gaining their licence as soon as possible.
Hours of operation 7am-3:30pm Monday to Friday - enjoy your weekends!
